This
week we will be learning about the letter Q.
We will be talking about the sound that Q makes,
looking for Q’s and practicing how to write Q’s.
Show and Tell is always hard for Q (we see lots of
Q-tips!), so if you cannot find an object please don’t
worry. You can
always encourage your child to draw a picture to depict a
Q word, like “quick”(someone running) or “quiet”
(someone sleeping). The
children love sharing their artwork and this is a nice
alternative to those Q-tips and quilts!
We
will be talking about Valentine’s Day and about how we
show others that we care about them.
We will talk about our families, friends and other
special people. We
will make some beautiful Valentine’s to share with our
families.
Notes
have been placed in the cubbies reminding everyone about
our school closing procedures.
