Our
Letter of the Week is W.
We will talk about the sound that W makes, learn
words that start with W and look for some W’s around our
classroom. Worms
start with W and we will spend this week examining some
real worms (Canadian Nightcrawlers).
Each child will get to hold a worm (if they’d
like) and we will learn some facts about worms.
We will compare our worms and try to find out how
long the longest one is.
Feel free to stop in and take a peek if you like
worms!
We
will talk about Spring and will go outside and look for
signs on spring. If
you find any interesting spring-like items in your yard
(forsythia, leaf buds, ladybugs) please send them in with
your child. We
are hoping that we will continue to go outside each day
and play on our playground – we truly missed our outside
play time this snowy winter!
